Zander Blom
NEWS: Zander Blom's first European solo show, titled The Black Hole Universe, takes place at 5x6x9, Berlin, from 12 June to 26 September 2010. He is also included on the group show Ampersand at Daimler Contemporary, Berlin, from 10 June to 10 October. Blom has been awarded a Fountainhead residency in Miami, to be taken up in March 2011.

Zander Blom was born in Pretoria in 1982 and lives in Johannesburg, South Africa. Blom's first exhibition, The Drain of Progress, was included in Frieze magazine's survey of 'The most significant shows of 2007'. He was selected as a 'Bright Young Thing' for 2007 by Art South Africa magazine, and in 2009 was included in the Younger Than Jesus artists' directory published by the New Museum, New York. Full CV
