BIOGRAPHY
Boshoff, born in 1951, has been writing dictionaries and concrete poetry since 1977. He combines these two esoteric disciplines in the making of three-dimensional 'books', so large that one may walk around in them. His work is a combination of such written visual poetry and three-dimensional encyclopædic installations. He has exhibited extensively abroad and has represented South Africa at the first Johannesburg Biennale (1995), the São Paulo Biennale (1996), the Havana Biennale (2000) and the Venice Biennale (2001).
