A scaled-down replica of Krugersdorp’s Paardekraal Monument which commemorates the rising of the Boers against the annexation of the South African Republic by Britain in 1877, given by Krugersdorp to Graaff-Reinet on the occasion of that town’s 200th anniversary; and figures from children’s stories celebrating Christmas, in the time of AIDS.
